The LEGIO.ball head shower is the ideal solution for Legionellosis outbreaks or in cases where comprehensive protection is required.
This version with a shower base is especially suitable for installation as a shower head.

How it works
The LEGIO.ball shower head offers reliable protection against Legionella. These pathogens contained in water can cause the dangerous Legionnaires’ disease (Legionellosis). The most common route of infection when showering is through inhaling aerosols (fine water droplets) that contain Legionella. The points of transmission for these aerosols are the taps of hot water systems such as showers. This filter cartridge contains capillary, tubular microfiltration membranes (hollow fiber membranes) that safely filter the Legionella out of the water flowing through it. The porous wall of this hollow fiber membrane contains millions of microscopically small pores (<0.2 μm) that act like an ultra-fine sieve. While water molecules can pass through the membrane, microorganisms such as legionella (approx. 1 μm) and other bacteria are safely held back. After the end of its service life, the cartridge can be disposed of in household waste or sent back to LEGIO. For further use, only the cartridge is changed. The shower head is still used, which is the more sustainable, ecological and cost-effective solution. More information

• The service life (service life) and the flow volume can be shortened by water contaminated with dirt. Bacteria have no influence on the service life.
• When installing the filters, please follow the installation instructions for your existing fittings (such as pressureless storage tanks/boilers, etc.).
